In the spring of 1996, the Lansing Catholic baseball team was on fire. This team facedd adversity and walked right through playoffs. Led by Phil Booth Lansing Catholic claimed their first state title. This team was truly special and it wasn't until 2012 that a Lansing Catholic team would make it back to the state final game. In 2012, they would fall to Madison Heights Bishops Foley 8-2. Lansing Catholic in 2023 made a run, but ultimately fell short again to Algonac. Hopeful this is the year that will give Lansing Catholic its due and another state title trophy in the trophy case.
